  1. Ken was a bright light in all of our lives. He was my brother, my friend, and the love of my sister's life. No words can describe how deeply missed he will be by our family.

  2. When I first met Ken Day it didn’t take long for him to start making waves and setting the ship in the right direction in service. As amazing as he was at what he did for a living it did not compare to his truly best attributes. Ken Day was Funny, Smart, Sincere, and Loved by all who knew him. No matter how much you loved Ken Day you could never love him as much as he loved his family. We will all miss you Ken, you left too soon because the world doesn’t have enough people as amazing as you.

  5. I first met Ken in a job interview and he promptly told me he was going to take my job, which eventually he did. As the years progressed I was never quite sure who was teaching who but I know he taught me how to look on the bright side and to look for the positive in people and situations, and for that I will always be grateful. Sara our thoughts and prayers are with you and the children.

  12. Sara, I am very sorry to hear of Ken's passing. Your husband and I 1st meet over 10 years ago when we both worked at different Volvo dealerships, we both worked hard to push each other to become better Managers. I had the pleasure to also travel with Ken to several destinations over our time with Volvo and Ken was always able to make me laugh and have a great time! Ken's abilities were many and faults few. Deepest condolences from the Ternoway Family.

  13. I have been beyond heartbroken since I was given the news about Ken. He is one of the best friends I made during my 7 years working with Nissan. He was the one that guided me and supported me in the auto industry and had constantly given me the support and confidence to come as far as I have in my career. Ken was one of the funniest, kindest, most genuine people I've ever had the honour of knowing.

My heart breaks for his whole family and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Ken was loved by everybody he crossed passed with and will be missed immensely! My deepest condolences to the Day family.

So sad to hear this tragic news. We were neighbours with the Day family way back when and remember Ken fondly. On behalf of the Heffernan family, our deepest condolences to Ken's wife, children and the entire Day family.

  16. What wonderful memories I have of Ken. Lots of laughter driving to work from Fergus to Waterloo, being a tenant in his first house, sharing Christmas. A very bright young hardworking man with an amazing sense of humour. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I am so sorry.

  17. Although I only knew Ken professionally, hearing of his passing leaves me with a heavy heart. His warmth and sense of humour was contagious; something that all his clients and colleagues certainly appreciated and a testament to his dedication and professionalism. I will truly miss seeing his smile and listening to his stories on my visits to Hyatt.
I offer my deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

  18. Ken was the first person that hired me in the automotive industry when I changed career paths in 2010. Ken was always of help. He had words of encouragement, a smile to share, and always great advice to communicate. Ken was a fabulous guy, and even after I left Infiniti, he kept in touch. A genuine personality that will be missed. My condolences to the friends and family.

  19. Today Ken's life is being celebrated. It is a life well worth celebrating. As I sit here on the other side of the country, please know that my heart is with you. Sara what a gift it was to have spent time with Ken. To see his smile and easy laugh. To see his eyes light up when he looked at you, Em and Jakey. To see how very much you were loved. He too, was so easy to love. It is a grand gift to be loved by someone so deeply but it makes the loss that much more difficult. My heart breaks for you today Sara but I know that you have the inner strength of ten women and you will make it through this. Let time heal you. Remember every day that you were loved by a great man who celebrated the beautiful, kind person that you are and who treasured every moment with you. You are your Mother's daughter sweet Sara and you will survive this terrible tragedy. I will hold you tightly in my thoughts and prayers until spring when we will sit together and share in our laughter and tears. I love you Sara. Ken you will be greatly missed. I hope you are making God laugh. With much love, Dianne Denby
